Anyone enlisting in April 2007?

  Hihiz to all. I can't say I'm new here since I've been reading posts on this forum for quite some time now. Anyway, any one of you enlisting in April next year? If so, what are your plans in the meantime? Since we have 3 months or so...

  bet must be JC batch. they knew their enlistment date in advance...sometime in mid to late Nov.
  
  there are a few options
  
  1) slack
  
  2) work
  
  of cos don't 4get to train up before entering BMT.

  I'm in a JC. Since most of my friends are enlisting in Jan, enlisting in April totally sucks. (can't find a better word to express myself). While you do get to find a job and gain experience, an early entry would mean finishing NS earlier, and by that time, you are more likely to know what you want and hence make better use of your time.
  
  People enlisting in April are either working or slacking.
  Slacking is totally detrimental to your brain and body. Working is probably the best way to pass time. And supposedly gain experience.
  
  While I cannot be absolutely certain, it does appear that people who finish early get to enter the Uni earlier...Which to me is definitely much more beneficial.

  call cmpb to request for earlier enlistment to jan intake. sure got space 1... 3 of my friends supposedly enlisted in sep intake. they called and voila...! got in the june intake!

  i agree that fast go in and fast come out is the best option.
  
  trust me, the feeling of when u are going to ORD while your friends/classmates are still serving is great.
