There is no waste in being the Infantry. You can go for Guards conversion if you want. Or even better go and get that powerful Ranger tab, thats what so many regulars go all out for. And its a lot respectable to see an infantry commander with a ranger tab. And who knows what other prestigious titles are out there.....no limits, impossible is nothing, just do it.
Many of the SAFOS and President scholars friends i know have been exemplary too. Pls stop tinking that they are accelerated becos of the scholarships. Think why they got the scholarship in the first place.
Do u know it takes many balls to sit alone in front of 13 interviewers? well, they (the SAFOS and President scholars) survived and did well enuff, not once but many times.
Becos they have to uphold their scholarship status, many put in crazy amount of hardwork. can u imagine after 7-11 SOC they go back to their OCS books and study until 3am? That sandhurst fellow is impressive, so are the SAFOS n presidents

Very mature,humble and down to earth.He was the best of us.
