extending ord date

hey guys.. I am thinking of extend my ord date for 1 month.. How do i go about doing it.. Heard from my friend that if want to extend must get approval of officer, not want to extend then extend. Also he said that extending you'll get regular pay.. Issit true? Pls enlighten me

what is your rank and what is your justification for extending your service??

if ur extend, wont get regular pay if ur NSF. and NSF cant extend ord anyway, unless u go DB
i last time tried extending my ord date by 6 months but higher level say cannot -
talk to ur officer first... ask wuming??

its not not possible. -
There is no one month, 6 months at least last I got from my s1, pro rated regular pay. But the job is still as sh|tty. NS experience doesn't really count as work experience outside, that's an advice I can give you.

no one is indispensable, I don't think Minister will ask CDF not to retire if his time is up. I have heard that some ppl extend their ORD because of NDP. Of course there are some ppl who extended their ORD because of DB or Changi Prison.
I think there's a guy in my active unit last time who extended his ORD date due to family reasons (both of His parents dead before he enlisted) -
haiya, i think the term used is a bit wrong.
its not extend ord date. its signing on for 6 months or 1 year.
