anyway..my ninja fren told me that the OC of ninja is alwaes on bad terms with the CO of school 2.
in fact he kana screwed a few times in front of the ninja recruits.
apparently the CO doesn't like the ninja OC because the latter goes against his promise and pledge of "recruits being well-taken care of in BMT school 2". -

Taurus coy on lull now, but whoever goes to T coy for BMT you're in luck! WO company mann.. MWO Choong is one of the nicest OCs you can ever get. Always has a recruit first mentality. Punishes us when only required, not for fun. Sergeants in T coy are nice as well, they may be in other Coys now due to lull status though.. So any of you recruits that have Taurus sergeants or Raven sergeants named Roy or Supapong you guys are in luck

I guess when you are in standard batch the majority of will be posted to the service side, but I heard quite a number of people are posted to the Infantry units as Rifleman, and no one got posted as admin.
So where are you posted at right now? I heard that you guys just ended some dunno what course at Kranji Camp.
But sometimes I don't get it when my friends said that S coy is known for its slackness, when I do felt that training was at most times demanding. Yes, we do had our free time but I guess the same goes for the other Coys, no?
And I will not forget the time when we were made to crawl from the tracks to the armskote just as a punishment for not falling in properly before retuning arms... -

Here's my take on the different standards amongst companies.
I was a BMTC perm staff.
I just feel the entire company's welfare depends on how much OC wants to give and dares to give.
I had a pussy OC who can't wait to get his CPT rank (non-degree regular). His previous appointment was OCS PC.
He basically does what the CO specifically says and will not budge.
Other companies who have had OCs who were OC/2IC in active battalions give more welfare.
This is because they are more experience in the inner-workings of the SAF and know their limits to what they can give.
OCs who comes from schools are more rigid.
Before COL Lo Yong Poo as Commander BMTC, every OC dares to "smuggle" recruits back to company line for morale boosting bath. During COL Lo, some veteran OCs knows how to smuggle. After some crackdown, nobody dared but warrant companies skirt around the rule by bringing the bathroom to the field.
This is how difference in the standards are made. -

i was a BMTC permstaff too.
i rem my OC used to give offs like free as incentives to recruits.
example: 1 day off for IPPT silver, 1 day off for getting marksman in range etc.
yup... constructed "field bath" for recruits during their field camps at fibua village.
therefore, for future recruits... if u kena warrant coys.
cos the specs will do the job for u. -

Actually there have been few incidents where sleeping at companies were authorised.
Usually is when there is dengue outbreak and or currently a malaria case is ongoing in coy line. -
