Is there a rise hike in NSF allowance increasing yet again?

Unfair! I only got S$235 during my NSF days. Increase for wat??? White Horse need money de meh? I thought all they got to do is to flash their birth cert to canteen operators can liao? And food will be served to you instead of Q-up???

i also heard rumours abt leave/off increase from 14 to 21 days. in fact, my officers who checked their EDS a/c claimed tt they have 21 days, but when i check, i only entitled to 14 days..
also heard rumours abt ALLOWANCE (we were nv paid, we are given allowance) is to be increased by $100. due to good economy and stuff..
anyway, all these are hearsays..muz wait till G1 army of ACGS (Pers) to give a concrete statement abt the rumours.. -
will NSFs appreciated the increase in allowance? or will they take it for granted and continue whining how NS sucks bah bah bah...

Regulars will have 21 days standard de lor but for us NSF dunno will have 21 days or not..... as for the Pay increase, increase or not doesn't matter as long i can ORD faster then 8 september this Year.....

as for leaves, 14 is ok good enough liao. factor OIL etc, during my NS days my OIL is all i fight for it one.

need to clarify something. i thought the higher your rank the more leaves u have? for example a CPL will have 1 more leave than say a LCP?
is that true martin?

but on oct-dec04 i got 4 days of leave, jan-dec05 14 days and jan-oct 11days. so i dun know why i got extra day of leave also
total should get 28 days -

i think the rumour of 21 days is because there's a system developed as a WITs project(if im not wrong) that can calculate the number of lves u have.
if u key in your ord date, especially those who ord at around oct-dec, they will show around 20 days. so there's a rumour. but according to my chief clerk, it's a computation error. so don't be too happy first for those guys. -
When the NSF period was shortened to 2 years, I had thought that NSFs would forgo all leaves, allowances, do more sai kang willingly. Now, still bickering over more leave days.
Actually, looking at the NSF period, I see that there is not much of a change. In the past, Air levels and Polys serve 2.5 years. Now many more A level or Poly. So, to meet the budget, the main group serve 2 years. -
