Nonetheless you are required to be in smart casual when you report on your enlistment day. NO sandals nor slippers !
For those whom like to style your hair... Gel your hair... etc etc please save the effort as you will be shaved ASAP on the exact same day.
Do not bring excessive things on your enlistment day. as all things will be provided by SAF ! Exceesive luggage will only made your first ARMY MARCH to your coy in BMTC SCh 1 MISERABLE !
JC kiddos PLS do not be afraid to ask for HELP. Keeping quiet will only make your life miserable. And dun wayang thinking u might get into OCS. At the end of the day... those nominated to go into OCS are usually those with good IPPT results.

That means that the bus services go ferry terminals will be from 9am to 9.30am, but try to reach there 15mins before 9. Because there will be a Long queue waiting for the bus, so if you go early, chances are at least you won't have to wait too long for the bus and add to ur agony of having to go BMT.Originally posted by senght:9am for me. Also, like what others have suggest, don't bring too many personal belongings. Bring your toothbrush,washing powder toothpaste, handphone charger extra underwear and 1-2 t-shirts for sleeping at night will do liao. Things like towels, shaver will be provided for. Why I suggest bring xtra sleeping tshirts is because for the first 2-3 weeks, u cannot book out. And plus almost everyday sure got physical training, so all ur PT kit will be wet, and u may run out of dry ones to wear at night.
Have fun, and yea, listen to whatever your sergeants say. Got questions, ask the sergeants, don't ask the blur guy sitting next to u. Don't scare Pai Say, coz if anything goes wrong, its ur head on the chopping block. -

I am not sure whether you can bring a charger into BMTC these days. Back in my time when i was a PS, i confiscated all HP chargers and return it to recruits during their first book out. DO not bring a charger, instead bring extra batteries.

I heard the warrants very free one, ask their recruits anyhow come SGF n type so and so said this , blah blah blah ... cos they will check out SGF one. And AFAIK, their names are not on SGF but elsewhere
