Can we use an umbrella when we are in No.4

  I dunno which Warrant disallow the use of umbrella and made this like an unwritten rule.
  
  SAF Dress Code allows the use of umbrella. And in ceremonies, the guest of honour if military personnel may be umbrella'ed carried by an person of junior rank.

  I booked in on Tuesday carrying an umbrella to Tekong, and just an hour ago I booked out with the umbrella as well. Nothing happened to me.

  most camps are poorly sheltered, if cannot use umbrella when raining sure fall sick one.

  in fact i encourage SAF to issue all recruits with a small fold-able SAF umbrella as standard issue item adn book in/out item.

  i think recruit will heck care even if it rains...coz most recruits will go home straight after bookout

  i'm wondering if TS is trying to be funny..
  its plain common sense to use umbrella when its raining. chiong sua no choice coz umbrella is not a standard item, but there's gortex jacket that serve the same purpose. and when the rain gets heavier or CAT1, u go to the nearest shelter.
