Like to have an idea ................
now that full-time NS is 2 years ............. who would like to exchange that for one year full-time NS with absolutely zero allowances, slog more to cram 2 years' training into one and make no complaints ?
You'll save one-year of your life. -
Its not the training tt the govt is concerned.. it's the cheap manpower they need to do guard duty.

think i'd still prefer 2 years.
for active units, minus the miscellaneous stuff, its still ard 1yrs+ of chiong sua and its still siong to some. imagine cramming all this together, no allowance somemore, before anyone attack singapore, its going to be NSF starting to rebel.
