RBLF Commander Conferred Military Award

The Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force was given a Singapore military award on Thursday.
Is it just me, or every time I read Pioneer magazine, SAF seemed to have given out a medal to someone. Every month without fail. Like give out candies like that.
Colonel Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Rosli received the Meritorious Service Award in military from Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean at an investiture ceremony.
The award recognises the Colonel's contributions to fostering ties between the Singapore Army and the Royal Brunei Land Force.
The Defence Ministry said Colonel Pengiran has actively enhanced rapport between the officers of both sides through bilateral exercises.

It's an SOP to give them out to visiting heads after their second or third official visit or something like that. Its sort of a "bribe" if you will.
