What Is Your Biggest Failure/Mistake Whilst In SAF?

For me, is an argument I had with a Major. I didnt raised my voice at him, but I did tried to prove a point pretty bluntly and direct. Thus he not happy and it cost me my rank.
Lucky for me, I am not from a battalion. Normally, if they know you are from division hq's or something, reasoning can be done. Or else, i think i can face DB already. Oh yar, having a high ranking immediate superior helps a lot too.
Come to think of it, if i wasnt too c0cky at that time, all this wouldnt have happened.

My biggest mistakes and those in my battalion:
Mine: Having my 155 round landing kilometers (I think) off target into padi field.
Pivot piece commander: Firing off a 155 round without orders.
No 4 commander: Firing off a 155 round with the wrong charge.
RSM (Safety officer): Allowing the gun to be fired off with the wrong charge.
No 4 commander: 25 pounder not properly secured and detached from Landrover in just before a traffic junction in Hougang. The landrover crossed over the junction first ... followed by the 25 pounder by itself!
No 3 commander: 155 gun not properly secured. The gun unhooked itself in the middle of the junction and crashed onto the road. We had to stop the traffic to hook up the gun again.
My driver: Drove too fast and couldn't stop in time, thus slamming into the 155 gun ahead. (Luckily, I did not go to the DB with him. Technically, I was responsible because I was the vehicle commander)
Acting BSM (another battery): Leading his battery convoy with 4 x 155 guns to the Causeway. -

My unit conducted a makan treat for a Colonel. There is the Operations officer with the ranl of a Major, the RQMS, Ops Warrant n Chief clerk. So is you who fired off target into padi field! Some many battalions and units know about it le...machiam rumours spread like nobody business.

You mean I'm (in)famous ??? I had ROD'ed (I know, I know, ... they call it ORD now) for 20 years and not in the loop. So what were the rumours?
Anyway I maintain that it was not my fault. It happened during Prof. Test in Thailand. Before the fire mission, I found that the sight was loose in the housing. Thinking that the sight was faulty, I sent a gunner to the CP for a spare sight. After fitting the sight, it was still loose (we were in fire mission now). I sent for another spare sight (the last in the battery). At this time, the GPO had been asking my gun for "check ready" for some time. This third sight appeared to fit, and I reported ready (remember that we were under pressure - if we do not fire, we would fail the Prof. Test). After firing, the feared command of "Stand fast" was given. The Safety Officer came and checked the sight settings. The gun was laid properly. However, when he twisted the sight, it was loose. At that time, I was too wooried about whether I was going to be charged to think much about the situation. In hindsight, I can only conclude that the sight housing was faulty.
2nd one - no it was not me - it was Gun 3. I was Gun 1 commander.
Seemed like my batch had left its mark in Arty History -
