Side track abit.. can CPLs be given titles such as "Ops Specs"? I find it odd.. technically from their title, they are Specialists.. but they are unable to make any decision like 3SGs or above.Originally posted by Gordonator:Man Meaning soldiers that are neither Officers nor Specialists.
appointment and rank are too different thing. for example that CPL cannot give extras like a 3SG.Originally posted by off_service:Side track abit.. can CPLs be given titles such as "Ops Specs"? For example, Spec Techs can range from LCP to 3SG. Which is confusing to anyone outside the Engineering vocations.Originally posted by off_service:Side track abit.. can CPLs be given titles such as "Ops Specs"? This caused a hilarious argument at the cookhouse in the next camp when we went for lunch, and few of my mates who were LCPs came to the Specialists' food queue with us. Being a training school, that camp's COS was not sure how to deal with this until one of the MSGs with us said that if they're going to practise discrimination, then they will all queue with the LCPs in the enlisted queue.
The COS gave in without much fuss, having a MSG and 2 1SGs glaring at him.
not sure about that...cos neber tried breaking the 2359 rule and also last time my unit not guarded by RP exclusively...Originally posted by Gordonator:not unless u amke friends with teh RPs.
