  What I think is that you'll get your enlistment letter in the middle of your poly course.
  
  You can then go to your poly's admin office and ask for a letter of deferment. They will give you a deferment letter for you to pass to Mindef.
  
  Mindef will grant you deferment.

  they dun care age liao ,they will send letter say u are due for enlistment after your o lvls then hor they will ask u if u are going to continue studying and need deferment.if you do then they will ask u apply with evidence.(ur acceptance letter frm sch) then they will auto defer u till u graduate or get kicked out.If you do something stupid like study till final sem then decide to change course and start frm yr 1 again then u gotta reapply for deferment and see if they wanna give u anot.

  hey different people are saying different stuff .. can someone who really knows whats the result of not getting silver for NAPFA say it here?? i am rather concerned about this issue too

  i believe it is one mth earlier
  
  for example PTP intake is usually @ June and Sep
  
  den direct Enhance is @ July and Oct
  
  aniway give urself one mth to train for pull up
