Oh no I need some help with this

I just now applied for my NS registration stuff
filled in this and that
and also booked one medical appointment date
but problem now is I cannot find the deferment part
my friend said when he logged in he just deferred and no need to register for anything
kind of worried now
It said this when I clicked on the deferment and registration part
"You have registered your National Service on Wed, 24 Jan 2007. Your medical appointment is on Mon, 7 May 2007 at 1000 hrs. You will be scheduled for enlistment once you are certified fit for full-time National Service." -
Are u studying right now? if you are, your school will sumbit the deferment application for you. Now worries. Unless you are 18 now, you have to apply for deferment personally.

When u registered, u are supposed to defer at the same time. How u missed it? -

the letter said"If you are not studying or cannot be granted deferment by the system, the system will prompt you to proceed with the 9 steps pre-entlistee's documentation" I did the 9 steps thing and submitted
nothing happened afterwards -
When i was schooling in JC, i did not have to apply for deferment. For poly students,i believe you can go to CMPB or website to apply if you are 18 years.

I e-registered as instructed by the letter .. the 9 steps
the FAQ said something like
"Q: What should I do if I am still studying?
A: If you are still studying you can apply for dferment via internet after you have e-registered for NS (I got registered liao). If you are eligible for deferment, approval will be granted immediateyl through the system."
but I don't have the approval granted immediately, nothing pop up also

I went back to pre-enlistment documentation/ application for deferment section udner this quicklink
and it showed me this

I went back to pre-enlistment documentation/ application for deferment section udner this quicklink
and it showed me this

still can call the CMPB people right? to clarify?
anyway I referred to this section about the enquiry of enlistment status
and it said
"You have not been scheduled for enlistment. For further enquiries, please call our Call Center at 1800-3676767 or email to us at [email protected]." -
Which means, after your 'A's, CMPB will schedule a posting for enlistment in BMTC.

Anyway, they won't call u up until ur 18. So, no worries, u would have done ur 'A's.

Why they need to defer? Unless they are retained, they dont have to defer. U have a medical checkup scheduled right? Then no worries

Just call the CMPB hotline now and ask for advice lor. Its 24 hours anyway.

and when I told him I filled in my pre-enlistement thing
he said alamak you should be prompted with the deferment thing before that which I am not then after which you need not fill in anything -

hmmm don't know whether it will be solved a not
yesterday I asked the school administrator to help me fax the acceptance letter..or rather the momerudem..to CMPB. was expecting a call from CMPB but don't have
then next day went down to ask the school administrator again..this time a different one..he helped me fax again to double confirm and asked me to call them to confirm my fax
2 hours later called them again then the guy told me they would call me back if they receive my fax..
was wondering how long they would take to settle it 2 days or 1 week?
