RSAF Computerised Aptitude Selection System (COMPASS) Test

  Hi guys, I have been invited to the SAF Careers Cenre (SAFCC)-Air Force Recruitment (CMPB Podium) for a 5-hour COMPASS Test as quoted from the letter that they sent me.
  
  Does anyone know what to expect of the test?

  When did you apply for the RSAF post? I applied mine but until now still no news.=/ They did send me a card though saying that they'll contact me soon.

  I think this is probably the aptitude test. If you do well, they will invite you to a talk, and probably offer you a pilot training programme.

  Some questions on maths, abit of common sense things, play pattern one, some computer games. Waste of time I tell you, I regret going more than spending the day at tekong.

  Its so easy you'll find it a waste of time. The only stump you questions come from the interview which is if you get shortlisted first.

  Pilot training - many don't make it and drop out.
  
  During training, you are on regular payrole, and the time spent is counted towards NS. Actually, no loss. And if you decide to join SIA as a pilot after your NS, you need not wait for the age to join, because you are already rejected by RSAF.
  
  These are IQ questions. Its either you have it or you don't have it.

  Good way to get some "off" days during ur bmt. Go for as many of these selections and talks as possible!
