Unveiling the next-generation of Body Armour Technology?

This guy, the rather famous inventor of a bear suit (i'm sure you guys remember him from one of those cheesy "world's most amazing" tv programs ), has now come up with a flexible, full body ballistic protection system for soldiers.
It looks silly but somehow I think it would be quite cool too. Kinda like the knights of old. If you've seen him take baseball bats blows w/o flinching whilst wearing his old bear suit, you'll wonder what this thing can do.

Oh man, I'd love to see him aim with an assault rifle with that storm trooper suit on.
The same weak point as previous armored suit designs, the under-chin section. There's quite a lot of difficulties trying to protect that region without resorting to some sort of chain mail hood of the olden days.
Btw, when he raised his arms, and mentioned that the all out of bullets scenario... he flipped over the safety cap thing. I thought he was gonna activate a predator style self destruct sequence.
What they really need for those up close and personal fights are sonic weapons. Emit amplified frequency specific noise that would incapacitate those near them. -

btw, I italicized your error above. Americans! AIM!?!? What were you thinking? The preferred firing stance of the US Army is known as "spray and pray" and it is of the style dubbed by the Americans as "Gung-ho". You can recognise it when you hear soldiers shout 'get some' after every few salvos. -

The "get some" and "@#$ yeah" hasn't changed though.
That thing looks like the Master Chief's MJOLNIR battle armor (not surprising considering Halo was one of his inspirations), now all it needs is strength augmentations and energy shields. -

Maybe there's a tube, linking the lizard to some ultra-hi-tech filtration system which changes the pee into water to be stored in the camelbak.haha

Oh... that is old technology already. The Japs did that back in WW2.
