but if I were U....I'll load and ready the M16 and try fight that joker with the attached bayonet...there are 2 of U...both with M16,bayonet and live rounds...the joker is wrong by charging at U with a parang...but is it that critical that U have to fire at him? -
be careful the parang can be used as a ranged weapon as well.

like that no need to use lve rounds liaw.. Besides.. u guys are trained in unarmed combat.. 2 vs 1.. confirm win one. Unless other person is some EX special forces guy. Which he then incapacitate u two with a spoon he found on the ground. -

obviously if a guy charge at you or any other person with a parang u can shoot him....even if u kill him i doubt u will get into any serious trouble although there will be a lot of hoo hah and investigation.....as a guard u are authorised to use deadly force in order to protect SAF installation and personnel

change alrd lah. went to ICT late last year for some POI lesson. learn about this loh.. shout "stop , stop or i will shoot". If they still run towards u with the weapons, you are allow to shoot as long, as he is within 10 m (plus minus lah). -

We were floating this idea that just to be safe, run through the entire ROE as quickly as possible so that you have followed the rules by the letter and still have more then enough time to shoot that guy... goes something like this.
The moment you see somebody who's not supposed to be there (make sure you load mag and ready weapon liao), you go:
stopstopstopori'llshoot*bang!*(warning shot)*bang!bang!*(shoot at the person)
Can do within 5 seconds...
For the person... too bad if he can't respond in time...
