1: Lets say I got some illness or rather mental problem, so they give me PES C, then after that I ok liao, den never go tell the doctor and remain a PES C, is it a crime?
2: Lets say I achieve many fitness award before, but during checkup, I purposely don't bring all those documents. Is that a crime? -

If minor injury which can recover one, most of time they will only give temp PES status. For example, in my time, they gave temp 6mth PES C/E with medical reviews done on mth to mth or bi monthly basis (i.e u go back for check up)
If deem recovered, they upgrade u to ur former PES.
If permeant injury or medical condition usually perm PES one. (i.e. when they say u are pai ka pai chiu mean u are pai ka pai chiu)

NCC is play play only. No need to be serious with them. The Cadet LT you see today may only be a CPL when he enlist. What is there to salute ?

Well, wheateer you like it or not, it is suppose to be like that, according to a maual that the SAF came out with. Well, only salute those OFFICERS, not CLT! haha

Ok, there are some SAF officers posted to NCC HQ. But I don't think they are wearing NCC epaulettes. Theirs should still use the Singapura one. So, there is still a difference.
One question : Can a CPL (NS) school teacher be a LTA or CPT in the NCC ? -

these senior chaps are probably some ex-SAF officers anyways, maybe 2 ranks down when in SAF but promoted while in NCC. Then cannot wear Singapura rank.

Actually for me I won't salute to NCC. The reason: Why shld I pay respect to a person belonging to a organization that doesn't even respect the uniform.
As I said in another thread, they shld either totally change the NCC uniform until it is totally different from the SAF creed or totally barred the ginnas from wearing outside the school premises. I am totally sick of these ginnas playing a fool outside while wearing the uniform. -

BTW, if you are a offcier in NS say, CPT, they will let you start from the rank equivilant in NCC. -

My section mate in my reservist unit, is a CPL, and he is a school teacher plus LTA in the NCC. -
Conclusion : Do not salute a NCC officer. You may well outrank him when both of you appear for In-Camp-Training.

first pt , when U get ur pes grade , there is an indication of permanent and temporary status .
if temporary , they will review u when u have been enlisted and upgrade u if possible .
if permanent , no review will be done .
I think temporary is for those condition that might improve as time passes by like injuries .
permanent are those that will not be cured .
second pt , u dun have to bring physical fitness awards , just bring ur medical documents along . -
