tell me about duct tape

  im enlisting very soon and everyone around me strongly advises me to get duct tape.
  
  what's it used for?

  duct tape is used to reinforce your zip lock packs in the field pack. Thats about it.

  the army is held together by black tape and comms cord. however u spell that.

  When your full pack, LBV gives way. Commscord and Black tape is godsend.

  Duct tape is bigger than black tape and it's used to waterproof your ziploc bags.

  You will need loads of blacktape. It is very useful. For eg, you will need it to anonymize yourself when you take pictures. Stick it over your eyes, like so:

  actually comms cord is used for 'lines of communication'...
  to define a boundary as yours and many other impt usage... which one can pick up in the unit or command sch...
  
  so yes w/o black or duct tape we'll be disabled.... all our SBOs or LBVs will be too loose... hahaha...

  why use black? instead of green?
  
  coz our fieldpack ish green color leh
