How much allwance will a Commando recruit get pay?

  Unless the arrangements have changed, you get CDO allowance from day one. The catch is that it's held in reserve till you get your beret, and then you get it in one lump sum.

  Again, my figures are probably out of date, but it was $300 for four jumps, one in each quarter of the year and paid once per year. If you do two jumps in one quarter but none in another, it doesn't count.

  Anyway, according to Bravo Coy snrs,
  
  pay is $450 for BMT. $100 extra compared to other recruits. But you only get $350 during ur BMT. After ur BMT you then get the extra $100/mth in a lump sum.
