MPs pay is only part of their total take home. MPs also holds appts outside which also pay them realy well. So more prominent MPs can earn more than 50k a month through holding directorship etc.
Minister level then cannot have outside interest. But then again, their pay super duper scale type. -

I guess they needed a "nerd" to transform the SAF frm 2G to 3G.While now that it's on it's way they can get a more garang guy to command.

for the pay of regulars, can be obtained from army intranet. but it's just rank pay. minus alot of stuff. -

But the new COA also not very young...hmms...I wonder if there's gonna be someone else from Navy/Air Force taking over CDF instead.

It's high time that a RSN guy took over, but maybe that will only come about when the Gulf detachment commander reaches flag officer rank.

He is presenting a plaque to MG Desmond only. If i'm nt mistaken it's an appreciation plaque for tour as COA.

[Off-topic] I just want you all to know that our current CDF tries to trim his weight down. He is not one of those over-bloated China generals who you often see.. I feel sorry for him when I see everyone criticising him.
At least, he tries. (It is not wayang for you all to see, he does it somewhere else. Not using army facilities. I know because I see it with my own eyes, met him in the locker room) So don't always condemn him, although I know MG Desmond Kuek is around for you all to compare.
And if you take the time to talk to him in person he is actually very nice and receptive to you -
