i recieved another letter from MINDEFafter they told me my enlistment date was postponed for upgrading my pes status to PESBP from PES C. I am now posted to CIVIL DEFENCE! WTF is that? are they like the army?

Initial stages before real enlistment like check up, pes allocation etc, MINDEF handles everything.

Yes.. SCDF is a noble job.. u do alot of shit.. u clear alot of shit.. u save alot of.. err.. people..
Tt's why u are paid slightly more.. though with ur workload.. not worth it.
Juz dun chao keng.. nid pple like u to save lives. -
you will probably end up at a fire post, sit down all day to wait and relax unless there is an emergency. wait 1 day and off 2 days. while waiting, you can still go to sleep, so effectively, you will be serving 1/3 time of 2 years. Make full use of the time.
