Well, its common to miss NS days. You have more free time to spend idling away compared to when you hold a job where your free time either spent worrying about things or planning on others.
I for one miss my crazy BMT days.

Most of us in there will be grumpy, but after a while we sit down, and recalled what had during those NS days

i hate army!!! i dun wanna be reminded of it!!! all the tekans, all the arrows, all the fking, all the extras/confinement/punishments, all the bad people, all the tough n cruel training, all the tiring fatigued days.... i hate all this shit.... hope to get it outta my mind.. it will drive me crazy lor

depending on what u remember , if u remember the tekan and the punishment u'll hate it but if u think of the friends u made and suffering and the life u gone through together u'll missed it

i certainly do... my OCS days were siong but wonderful. still maintaining contact with my OCS mates. and we still talk about it even though its like 5 years ago.

Miss the days having champagne at farewell dinners, courses at DSTA, going to STK and talking cock with the contractors...damn shiok.

Miss my unit days in the Navy. I was in Army BMT, and to be transfer over to the Navy after BMT, I guess I was lucky, because I know I would probably had struggled through had I continued to be in an Army unit. I kinda miss the sailing days especially to places like Pattaya and Kaohsiung. Plus, I learnt a lot from the NSmen that come back frm ICT, as they will relate their life experiences to me, and seldom do they try to "pull rank", and treat everyone the same, even the officers.

i certainly missed my BMT days. lots of funny, crazy and memorable people.
although i don't kinda enjoy my unit days due to some black sheeps but overall i say it was a ok experience cos i make some very nice friends there.
