RSAF Pilot Interview Tips & Tricks

Hi I've passed a COMPASS Test a few weeks back and I've been called to attend a pilot interview @ CMPB in a week's time.
Has anyone gone for the pilot interview before? Will greatly appreciate any tips! It's my first formal interview so other than grooming and looking presentable, I'm not very familiar with what they may try to stump me with. -

They will ask you if you will dare to do this, dare to do that. Just be adventurous, and you will make fighter pilot calibre.

- why do u want to be a RSAF pilot? (confirm come out this qn n i feel that this qn alone has a lot of weightage)
- if u make it thru, wat type of pilot u wanna be? (fighter, transport, heli)

oh... n oso dun be too proud n overconfident.
n oso DO NOT attempt to deceive the interviewers (normally abt 3 to 4 pple)
for example, if they say ur ex-sch teachers say u were a very good student even though u noe they wont say that abt u, tell the interviewers they r wrong n they probably have the wrong info.
be as truthful n sincere as possible, they have a factfile of ur info right from ur pri sch records.
rem to greet them when u enter the room.
observe ur sitting posture n hand gesture, sit straight, dun slouch.
it's ok for ur hand to move a bit but not too much.
speak fluently, dun slurr or mumble stumble.
look into the eyes of each n every of the interviewers when u talk.
juz be confident but not overconfident.

if u can make it, i suggest u go join SIA or some commercial carrier.

they do have some sort of scheme for RSAF pilots to get degree in local uni...but have to serve a few years first before being considered...no such thing as train for 2 years...go off to study...then come back and fly... -

So, target them while they're still young and gullible. Get them on contracts, they can't run away. muehahahahaha -

I think SIA has a minimum age requirement for Singaporeans. To overcome this, you got to be rejected by RSAF first.

Somehow I get the feeling that it's tougher to be accepted into commercial airlines especially if I don't have a private license already. Commercial license higher cost right? -

Not true. I know some RSAF pilot-trainee dropouts who later join SIA and make it.

Try to digest any information (made to public) regarding RSAF; especially any future plans etc etc.
When I went for my interview that time, they asked me about what type of planes are the RSAF currently looking at to replace the old ones; I didn't know much and dumbly said F111 or some funny funny out of the question type of plane..
And they said 'f u c k off' in a polite manner immediately...
