we as recruits are not suppose to lean against the wall when we sit cross legged on the floor. any1 caught leaning against the wall will be ask to place both palms against the wall and shout "HELP HELP! the pulau tekong canteen above e mart serves nice food....
the rice stall sell many fried things like prawn fritters, ngoh hiang, fish fillet, chicken cutlet...etc. yum
the maggie stall not bad too. esp. the mee goreng made wif indomee
then the prata stall not bad too... yum. -

did my BMT in tekong camp 3 back in 1995...i think we were the last batch to receive green pt shirt and camo pt shorts, black pt shoes with yellow soles...
and also, booking in and out of camp would mean 3km to and from the jetty...and at that time, we took RPL, not fast craft...dunno if it's just me or wad, but everytime book out, the trip to mainland would take about 1 hour whereas the trip back to tekong only takes about 30mins...
cook house food was terrible, cannot tell the diff between pork, chicken or mutton, esp during dinner...and somemore have to say "thank you cook, thank you cook" to each and every cook...fark them...give one nasty look, do nothing, still bad mood whole day...
i'm into my second last incamp, coming ard nov...would have been my last, had i not defered my previous one... -

Did my BMT at Tekong Bravo Coy in 2005. Felt like a crappy place. Just finished my A levels and straight away thrown into this hell-hole. Was in Enhanced batch but my fitness is really bad coz for the last six months never exercise at all once I cleared my Napfa test.
Before I enlist, I thought NS was Bad but after I enlisted, I thought NS is even worse than I thought.
Did not like the Specs and officers there. Who do they think they are? Got 3 stripes or 1 bar so what? My friends and I made an agreement that once out in the corporate world, if we see them, we will give them hell. Lol. My OC was good though. Was a Senior Warrant but then is not commissioned so ended up my company always last to book out and we had to complain to the 2IC of BMTC. We book out at 5pm on Every Sat.
Luckily had good friends there, I guess going through hardship always create good friends.
Anyway, Glad I Ord. Since my reservist is 8-5 guess I don't mind going back but not so soon in my career though.
Personally, BMT is the worst place of my NS. Crap really. Glad I was there for 9weeks only. -
What is enhanced BMT? Btw, I think your booking out late is not due to the fault of your OC. A Senior Warrant is a pretty high rank actually - the highest ranking warrant officer that only a handful can attain.
