maybe should let these NSFs go thru a cooking course so there will be some standard lah...Originally posted by FireAndHell:If NSF does the cooking again, it will be like the good ol days. Soldiers get to eat all the worms and sand embedded inside them veggies, rice will be under cooked [insufficient water] meat will be tough to chew and fishes will stink, as most of them fishes ain't that fresh. Fruits, hmm.... so so.
NSF soldiers will get to experience how food tasted during the early years of NSF. There will be NSF GD men [General Duty] to do daily chores like throwing rubbish, sweeping the camp etc. [These GD men are actually non designated NSF men who cannot fit into any vocation due to their inability to master any vocation]. Those were the days .... and i luv the food!!!!!!!!
No use,the general NSF mindset is still there, serve and fxxx offOriginally posted by stookie:maybe should let these NSFs go thru a cooking course so there will be some standard lah...

I disagree - dispensing with contractors mean that there is less of an incentive to cut costs on the part of the contractors. So it can mean higher quality food.Originally posted by FireAndHell:If NSF does the cooking again, it will be like the good ol days. Trust me... you won't want to live in camp when that happens. Imagine what would happen if an infantry company were to be provided with cooking facilities... they would probably burn the whole place down!Originally posted by Ponders:a more efficient solution.
During BMT, all recruits are taught how to cook.
So after first 2 weeks or so... they cook their own meals.
Now, you can't really complain what you cook for yourselves right?
No more surveys to sabo.
Great idea!Originally posted by Ponders:a more efficient solution.
