what will happen if one day SAF revert back to NSF cooks?

  I think inside all micro-wave ovens, steamers, just to warm up the SFI food packages in the field. No "Hor Fun", curry chicken, etc.

  Actually, I was surprised SAF talking abt 3G and stuffs, took so long to realise the importance of a field kitchen. This device have been used in foreign armies for ages, and they consist of ur usual stove and so on. Hot food can improve morale in heavy rainy seasons, imagine eating combat for months!!! Maybe the role of cook may be brought back or some lobo may be cook trained. Is the kitchen used at BN or BDE level?

  instead of NSF cooks why not just send all the female regulars for cooking classes.

  there is still cook vocation...but they are call chef now...in sembawang camp there is this unit call CTP...catering training platoon and i am in this unit...damn shiok sia...but we only go overseas cook...here we only do function

  ya lor...i told all my frens i am a chef they don believe until i took out my apron from my bag...hahha...those in sembawang camp should know wat is CTP la

  hi Chef, what functions do you do ? I seem to see outside catering in most camps. maybe, even the Army people does not know the existence of your unit. or do you do only the high level functions, such as when MINDEF holds functions at Istana ? or you cater for the Chiefs daily meals ?

  I believe you. Because overseas bases do require cooks too. Not to mention RSN vessels.

  I mean you cannot be training to cook and then throw away the food afterwards. Someone got to eat them, right ? Also, are you the mass cooking type, or preparing for culinary competition ?
  
  There used to be SAF printers. But I see more subcontract works then utilising our own SAF printers. Maybe, they print maps and sensitive documents only. I am not sure if they exists now.

  when on course we cook then we eat ourself lor...but our teacher will eat a bit then give comments...mass cooking we do it once in every two days to get use to wat we will do overseas lor
