I need motivation to book in ...

sianz, everytime book out very happy n relieved but when its time to book in, i feel very irritated and nervous. I have to wake up 450 in morning n travel all the way to camp, and i dono wad arrows, punishments, scoldings, job awaits me.
i work in medical centre, i m always scared n nervous of a serious patient coming in who need medical help, wth 2 mths of basice medic training n want us to handle such patients? haiz...even nurses got 3 yrs to learn nursing skills
how am i going to last for 1yr 10 mths in such stress vocation? -
stay in is the best policy.

request to stay in ... then you don't have to wake up at such an ungodly hour every day ... machiam like BMT ....
just think of how many hours you spend travelling every day ....
staying out is over-rated .... -

I had the option of staying out towards the end of my NS tour too, but I got sick of having to wake up at ungodly hours in the mornings .... -

some malay guy in e same course but diff grp wif mi AWOL ard CNY after a fight over football played on e 4 level of e bunks 3 malay guys whacking a 1 malay guy over a football dispute....he AWOL on e very night of e fight
but there was some blood involved in e fight so it was kinda serious but i think its dumb to AWOL e 1 malay guy was kinda small sized

nope my duties varies ,
sometimes weekends got duties (weekend burnt, sometimes public holidays got duties, for me i have done cny eve, day1 n christmas, new yr day
usually weekdays if u are on overnite duties, u stay in, if not 6pm book out next day book in
so in other words it varies, if i can get sat n sun no duties, its already considered very lucky -

Aiyo the time will come one loh,try to think of the bright side lah,u medic right at least better than those in combat unit u know,i have a friend last time still have to chiong sua durning weekend and even CNY,what is weekend duties hahahaa u have to bluff yourself and make yourself happy one loh,cause if u sian right,the time will go slower,but if u maintain a positive mind,the days will go faster,trust me,it work for me last time.Originally posted by borntolive:i m like 1 yr 3-4 mths more, wa lao countdown i go mad sia
You scare to handle serious patient,but bear in mind,every vocation also got their problems u know,even storeman also scare their things get lost,have to pay fine + extras,clerks also scare their paperwork do wrongly,important documents lost,technician also scare their guns repair wrongly then burst how,driver no need to say liao loh u should know their pressure too,every vocation also got problems one lah,u really have to be steady "zai" to handle it,once u know how to "play the game" in your camp,u will see the light shining at you with the ord date getting nearer and nearer when the ord date get near u will feel yourself flying like a dragon unleash from the trap mountain,u will be immune to everything and unstoppable!!!!!!!!!! -

Always remember that no matter how serious things can get, rely on what you have learnt and nothing can go wrong. Consult SM, MO, Upperstudy and even other lao-jiau medics if unsure of anything. And always be confident of your own abilities.

u are feeling the stress because u are new, as time goes by and u become more experienced in whatever u are doing then u won't feel so stress.
wait for those CMI seniors to ORD loh and u will take over them plus with xin jiaos coming in.
