I have a question,(i already ord long time ago, still puzzled why i got pes e)
Its the day(i was 19), i went for my medical check up, ok i pass all the medical test, then the piece of paper, that needs me to write down, do i suffer from any form of illness, so i have no physical disability, of course, no. Then when it comes to mental part, i just put down, i went to see child guidance clinic before.
Fast forwarding, i met the MO, he ask me, blah blah. about whether i got any physical problem etc etc, i said, no. But i mention to him, i seen before a consultant before, at child guidance clinic. So ok, i got a piece of paper that said that i am PES D, then nevermind, i go back home.
After a few month later, i see another MO again, this time, i goes with my mother.
FINE, he still can't decide on, my PES status, again PES D.
I wanted to enlist early, and get it done and over with.
SO i got really annoyed,
last time, i went to the CMPB, the dick who interview me, was a captain and a colonel, head of the whatever s h it that he is,throughout the interview, i got so annoyed with them, i couldn't be bother at all, i just merely answer there question, half ass, while my face is looking sideway
the very last thing i remember, which i have a good memory about is
If i ask you to chiong upfront, would you, then i reply him, straight in the face, YES. then i think it was one month ago, i GOT PES E. what the heck i wanted to sign on and this is what i get. f u c k reason being for my pes e was impulsive behavior and personality disorder, (SMLJ) -

i went there and was told to sit at the sofa and the shrink asked me to go in .
he just read my report then waited a few minutes .
he asked me go in .
then i go in with my parent , start asking me all those typical questions questions .
after i answered all , asked my mum .
even asked family history of mental illness .
then can leave after a short while ....
i still Pes D cos gt another report to submit .

i think u really have personlity disorder and impulsive behaviour since most ppl who went there do not have mental disorders . -
Guidance Clinic sounds so much better than Woodbridge Hospital.

I am not too sure on this but I think if you are PES E your chances of employment with some stat boards will be affected slightly. PES E usually means that you have a medical ailment that is quite serious. Stat boards usually require their prospective employees to fill up their PES status as well as their vocation during NS.
Correct me if I am wrong though. -

government sector hard cos the application form nid fill in pes status de and vocation .
private sector , most employers asked if u served NS nia , wont ask so much 1 . -

I would advise against it. Unlike some small, private companies, stat boards have proper HR departments and practices in place. Before they hire any potential candidate, they will run very thorough checks on him/her. And that include past employment history, jail records (if any), educational background, NS records... After i went out of the specialist psychiatrist room , i saw a boy with stylish dyed hair and all those trendy clothes and branded shoe with his mum sitting on the sofa , i get a feeling that he is a problematic child like me . -
I just found out that wad the shrink at CMPB asked me was likely based on Global assessment of mental functioning . ( witha score of 1 to 100 )
all he asked tallies with what the GAF has to offer eg social history , mood , if i am working , no of times i went out per month ,sleeping habbits , appetite .......
I am in the moderate or serious symptons backed by school records .
