is it really necessary to stay in?

i mean sometimes for combat unit, the training is like from 8am to before 5pm. Then got no night training. And also especially during slack periods when dont have to prepare for any major exercise
So by right actually can let these combat NSFs stay out, ie. bookout after 5 when training ends n book in again the next morning.
Then some vocations like clerks, storemen and driver... should let them stay out mah, coz their working hours is like 8 to 5 or 6pm... Then usually after 5 or 6 pm is like slacking time... go back to bunk or go mess. Is like they are not needed after office hours...
SAF should let NSFs stayout when possible, so they can at least spend more time with their family and girlfriends. Then like this, army won't seem to siong and perhaps there would be less cases of AWOL or bgr relationship problem (which would affect soldier's morale) -
i everyday got nites off....

NSF are everyday 24hr on standby. Why dun u suggest to cut it down to 12hours...

To stay In is to prevent NSF from taking too many MCs outside.
To prevent NSFS to be late for training or work with excuses like traffic jam,stay too far etc. -
Free cookhouse food, nonexistent transport fees, plenty of leisure facilities like xbox, PS2 and gym, and most importantly having good buddies as company.
What more can one ask for?

The army have to be responsible for these silly boys when they book out.
They may go drink alcohol, get into trouble or get a accident.
So, if you are the boss, you would want your boys to stay in camp and enjoy the tia sa bun with coffee.
However, if the boys are whitehorse, then the rule would change as they will definitely go home, read books or go for golf. -

you can submit this as an USMS to your supervisor.
