most pes E soliders enter only 1 week bmt, and then posted to be clerks or storemen.
Do u think they should be taught how to operate a M16? Coz some pes E is pes E because of heart problems, diabetic, severe asthma, severe leg injury... They can't do physical activities, but i'm sure they can operate a rifle, coz it's not physically demanding.
or get SAF to come up with a small n light gun or rifle for pes E soldiers to use, so those excuse heavy loads can also use.
so in times of war, the pes E can still use the firearms to defend themselves or kill enemies. And not depend on those combat fit personnels to defend them. -

Firearms handling includes more than just point and shoot ah.
It includes Weapon handling, range, fire movements, tactics, etc, etc.
Whats the point of a PES E soldier just know how to point and shoot but dunno how to react when the enemy starts firing back

since now the SAF slowly moving to SAR21, then the M16s can be put to good use for Pes E soldiers...
this way, learning to operate and fire a real life weapon will make their army life more interesting... -

hence they cant handle arms.So all PES E no need handle arms.unless u wanna upgrade the rest to C9L1 or something heh -

pes e also soldiers, so i agree. else in war who is going to protect him? and they have to guard the registry also. so many sensitive document inside the registry
