Firstly, wads afs (tms), i cant find it aniwhere, as well as AVIATION VEHICLE SPEC. As far as i noe,
there isnt anione i noe with this vocation, much less have ani idea what i'll be doing.
secondly, I'll be bringing civi bag in to AFS?. And regarding person to report to, SNR instructor. What's that?

The weight of the RSAF's specialised airfield vehicles rests on your
shoulders. You will operate some of the most expensive and advanced
machinery, which play a vital role in mission success. You will be in
control and will be responsible for the smooth and safe executions of
the operations. To ensure safe and uninterrupted flying missions, you
will perform timely refuelling of aircrafts, as well as the loading of

My brother is an AVS. In short, they do some runway maintenance thing only. Ultra slack. At first will go to learn Class 4 licence. Stay-in Sembawang Camp, go Kaki Bukit learn Class 4 for about 2-3 months. After that he was posted to Tengah Airbase for like more than half a year (stay-out). Then posted to PLAB.
He’s going to ORD in June.. so most likely your batch will replace them
Anybody know the course for AERIAL CARGO RIGGER is roughly how long ? ? and I read some posts above say no stay in cos no bunks.. but the posting order there write you are expected to stay in..

I heard its a Navy site, is it true? Is the course hard?
They said call them to know stay in/out, but friday is public hols, sat and sun are weekends. WtF. I cant contact him dude. He simply wont return my calls.

You will report to this guy called Master Yin, he's a very nice and funny guy. Trust me, your stay in AFS will be fun.

Supply Supp course is stayout except on certain days when training requires you to stayin. It is the HQ for 1TPT as well as the transport north hub. Navy has a camp which is behind the transport camp but we share the same guardroom but army personnel are not allowed in the navy part of the camp.
As far as i know the course is rather slack and once finish course, you got yourself 1 of the slack 3SG vocation who has storemen under you

Whether you stayin or stayout depends on whether you posted to unit or base. Unit will be armour camp which is almost confirm stayin while base is stayout.

C veh you will be posted to 3AMB after you conplete your course which is at Jurong camp. Either you will stay there to work or be attached to 1 of their external workshops. I know they have 1 at Sembawang Camp but not sure about the location of the rest of 3AMB workshops.
