It might be a driver for some the CBRE vehicles since they don't use the regular transport vehicles but i'm not sure.

You and the rest posted to this vocation will be signallers, INFOCOMM2 is just a type of classification on the job. There are posts on infocomm2 in the past since i remember answering such a topic before months or even a yr or 2 ago so just search.

This is a 3SG vocation and you will generally be a sect comm of a section of drivers. Work includes basic servicing of vehicles, ensuring vehicles go for the quaterly UQM, look after your drivers, do drivers detailing etc.

We don't call the place Only Eat Talk Idle for nothing ;)
for those of you posted to airforce vocations, the training phrase in AFS is stay in, but for a few weeks only, however the staying in does not happen straight away.
after you complete your training, you will be posted to a squadron which is confirm stay out. hope this makes it clear.

I'm posted to AFS, vocation Air Force Tech.
May i know,
1) The duration of the training course
2) Whether the course is stay in
3) What this vocation entails
4) Whether my subsequent posting will be stay in
5) Being Pes C9, whether it's possible for me to reach 3SG rank.
Thx :)
1) 1st week airman orientation, followed by 7 weeks of mugging.
2) stay in for 7 weeks. dont worry it's heaven
3) go to base to service aircrafts or maintain airfield. depends on which trade u are trained
4) stay out. except for duties
5) 3SG for sure

O405, means 1st week is a stay-out week? then during the mugging period, what do i expect? then after the course ends, we will be reposted to another RSAF camp? [preferably near to where we actually live at]

Okay, thanks! So... since they said to bring only pt kit and 11B, do I need to bring anything else like field pack/duffle pack, admin t-shirt, etc. on Monday?
I don't think you will need them. Normally 1st day is more briefing and administrative.
Just a guide for you, blk 207 is just turn left from the guard room and its either the 1st block to your left or the 3rd block in the row of 3 blocks. Just remember my workshop was 211 and 212 but Semb camp is a small place so you won't get lost.

Can we bring along our cv bag to put the pt kit? Btw, thanks for answering my questions and the information! Good to have someone who can help out!
