You Autotech A B or C?
Life activities are normally things like run or for OETI, occasionally some sports like soccer etc. For those who are excuse running, you will just walk or help out as water point etc during life activities.
Workshops are generally dusty areas and most of the time people who gets excuse dust will not be able to continue on as an autotech.
i dunno which auto tech i am... they just post me as
tsaf oeti as auto tech trainee
so i dunno if is A, B, or C. As for my dust mite allergy should i approach the MO when i first report or should i get my specialist to write another memo as my current reports are with the medical board pending downgrade =S

Hmm, its wierd that they never inform you which you are since A B and C go on different courses even though they are all at OETI.
Inform your PS/PC/WSM on your first day of reporting and ask them whether you should report to MO and ask for a revocation since you are pending excuse dust or should you carry on in training. Its important to inform them as you cannot be revocated without the proper excuse being given but OETI can remove you from the course and let you help out in the office with admin matters while you await for reposting.
I was a Autotech B and WSM of ATW (B and C) last i know was WO Suhami who is a very nice guy. Most of the other regulars at OETI ATW are all pretty friendly and approachable so just check with them about your condition and see what they say. Autotech A that go to AVTW i am not sure since i dunno their trainers that well.
awesome! I'll do just that! Thanks very much =D

No prob.
Enjoy yourself at OETI its a auto tech fav place to be.
Only place where you have 3 choices for meals (2 non muslim, 1 muslim) since noone really cares where you queue. 1 of the best cookhouse of all the camps i been to.
During tea break/lunch break, go workshop trainee's mess and play computer or surf net. Still remember we spent ALOT of time playing games like marvel vs capcom, gem fighters etc etc.
does anyone know the rationale behind the 24km walk just before POP?

You should also book an appointment with a specialist in a public hospital.
Also, how in the world did you get hold of your posting order so early? Is it through some Tekong clerk?
I would assume he has seen a specialist and submitted any required documents to the MO etc since he mentioned hes awaiting downgrade.
There are other vocations he can go to besides clerk so why is there a need to state that.
He OOT not POP so he does not wait for the usual BMT posting.

Not everyone wants to be a clerk and personally i feel there are other vocations you can learn more than being a clerk unless you wanna work as administrator in future. Anyway its best to just leave it to faith what vocation you get especially since excuse dust still has a decent numbre of vocations available.
I always flame ppl who come in here asking how to be clerk so don't need to teach ppl such things.
lol thx... i would actuallly have liked to remain as a tech, my only concern is the dust. However, I'll be visiting my dermatologist to ask if a workshop is okay for me to be in. If its not, I'll just go with the flow and see where they post me. Clerical or non clerical is both fine for me. Just as long as got chance to stay out and no chiong sua i happy liao. Anyway, I'll most probably apply to mdc for a tech postition once the auditions open up in 3-4 months time. So I'll just go with the flow ![]()
