You will be a Bronco driver (i.e. those vehicles with 2 compartments) in an artillery unit. Not sure what you will exactly be doing, though. But be prepared to do lots of vehicle maintenance and cleaning so on and so forth.
As for the camp, most accessible camp (IMO) in Singapore as it is only 5 - 8 minutes walk away from Yew Tee MRT station.

Be a rifleman lor. Chiong sua, go field camp, fight defence fight attack. But it should be a bit better now because of the fact that SIR units now have a 'taxi' to ferry you guys around, so riflemen should walk a bit less now.
And depending on the situation in 2SIR now, if you join them just as the mono-intake have finished their BMT and are going to do their infantry training, then there is very little chance of you going to SISPEC. But if you perform very well, and if they have not enough sergeants, then who knows?

Congratulations. You get to operate the big freakin gun called the Primus. Either you become a driver, gunner or the loader. And the size of the rounds means that the loader is the one who usually has the most physical work to do. But usually people in artillery units have a better life as compared to their counterparts in SIR SAR Guards so on and so forth.
Like I said earlier, Kranji camp is very accessible. And it is most definitely a stay in vocation.

Don't remember about the training but after you complete the course, its just guard duty all the way till ORD.

So i guess is stay-in for sembawang camp? Just now i call nobody pick up.
If there is no change, it used to be stay in at STC for the duration of the course but its pretty slack

Enjoy life in OETI, C mech repairs tracked equipment like cranes etc as well as generators etc. Quite an auxillary mech compared to A and B which is more vehicles.

You should be working closely with the armour techs and more be focusing on reparing the gun turrents of the armoured vehicles. Training at OETI?
AIT (Advanced Infantry Training) is only for mono-intake Riflemen after BMT, right? How long is the AIT training training?

OETI is a slack place, enjoy it while it last.
I am unsure but should be 2-3 months. Since your posting is to an armour camp, it is highly likely to be stayin. Expect gedong, kranji etc

Unless you have an excuse heavy load or excuse upper limp, it would be hard.
You can try to report sick at OETI and see whether the MO will OOC you.
i do have an excused upper limb status for BMT. Is that liable, i also have a x-ray report on my injured arm.
Anyone can advise...

then after that...post to where? what is the job scope likes? is this tough...safe, dangerous? I guess need to handle/clean/maintain fire weapons, etc?
