i'll carry field pack and drag duffle bag. it's impossible to stuff everything in the duffle bag!Originally posted by waves:Hope this question doesn't sound stupid.
For those who are required to bring back all your stuffs issued by SAF, are you going to carry the field pack on your back and carry the duffle bag on hands(or drag it on wheels).
or just stuff everything including the field back into the duffle bag?
Dun wanna look like an idiot if I'm the odd one out on Monday.
indeed that is a very rare vocation.Originally posted by Fatum:no ...
congrats, you've kenna one of the very rare vocations in the SAF, only a handful are taken in this year ...
people will call you fogger and mosquito catcher from now on when they see you in their camp ... cos that's what you'll be ...
your job is to fog camps and training sites, and control mosquitos population mostly ... you'll also catch live mosquitos to test for malaria, etc ... at all hours of the day ... after ORD you'll become an infantry man ...

Speaking of Gombak, reminds me of the time I turned down a posting to Gombak Base and chose NSDC after finishing my course at OETI. The grapevine said that it would have been stay-in, but the blur me did not realise that it was a joke, and I chose NSDC. Well, both were stay-out, so no complaints there.Originally posted by hao_hao:anyone posted to gombak?
