Guys, as long as you are cbt fit, most of the courses/ vocations required stayed in and need to take PT, route marches etc etc. Only RSAF no need SOC. So don't keep asking the same qns again and again.
As for Zhua can you read the posting on the top...there's someone with the same qns as you.

You report to Home team academy. Basically its police officer everyday sit in office one. Studies alot. 8-5 job most likely.

Nope thats what I heard. You will spend time more on getting your tank driving course done. Then still got fire movement and sorts. You are not armoured infantry. Relax boy.

For those who are posted to 8 SIR, you're all gonna be trained as RPs (yes, as per what is stated on your posting) where you're all gonna undergo training and be redeployed to any of the camps/bases all over Singapore (not just limited to key installations).
Every few months you'll be going back to Clementi camp for retraining.. Part of the new plan to keep RPs from "nua-ing" their way through the remainder of their 2 years.
RPs who nua their way through, theoretically won't exist any more under this new plan.
