  Can men convert to specs or officer in the SAF

   

   

   ijust graduated from BMTC 9 weeks of trainning and , had the e posting and got into a men post , so i was wondering can men post convert into specs or officer apart from signing on...

  After bmt posting? The chance is almost 0. Unless, you get into those kinda service specs vocation, but that is another thing altogether.

  Hi all, 

  My bf is enlisting 11th November 2010 for a 2 months BMT. His birthday is in December and I'm planning a bday surprise for him on 11th December 2010, Saturday. Will he book out that day if there are no confinements because I'm just afraid that his field camp might fall on that weekend. Does anyone know when exactly is field camp after enlistment? Will it burn your weekends?

  I got selection interview for recee commander course for 1st Guards on 18th November. Sounds like you and I share the same fate.

  Hi guys, i disrupted my NS after BMT in april and i just received my Re-enlistment letter which asked me to report for re-enlistment at SMTI. : Please report to ADMIN BR at NEE SOON,BLK 701 #02-01 on 17 JAN. at 0800 hrs in uniform.

  maybe i know if there is a chance for me to be clerk or serivce medic rather than combat medic? since i am not expected to bring my no.4 and the letter never state that i am required to bring any saf material also, and i failed my IPPT.

  depending on your pes status, but very likely clerk.....

  I disrupted NS as well. Mine is SIG INSTITUTE. Report to ADMIN Br at Stagmont Camp, BLK 207 #02-10 on 17 Jan 11 0800 hrs uniform.

  You can try to be a local 3rd

  Field camp cannot tell for sure.

  You will have to wait for your bf to tell you.

  There are companies where the field camp come just after the first bookout, companies where field camp come mid way through bmt, and companies where field camp come near the end of bmt.

  CQ Supervisor. Starting you will be a men for the CQ, after about 1 year you will become a 3SG. No need go bslc or what ever crap, just go to SoL(no, not stoppage of leave, it is Sch of Logistics) for course and done.

  Hi all. Going to POP on 8 Jan and just wondering how does the unit posting work? For me,my BMT has not been great. I'm from the enhanced leadership batch but out of 9 weeks' of BMT, I've been injured for 5. Cleared my field camp,live range and passed IPPT. Did not throw grenade,did not do SIT test and only marched to the 8km mark. Will not be participating in the graduation parade either. Currently recommended for 21 weeks excuse upper limbs and heavy load by specialist but MO only gave me 6 weeks status. Will start physiotherapy sessions soon.

  Given the above, will I still end up in some chiong sua unit like guards? My shortsightedness is about 500 by the way. Also,is there any place I go for a PES review? I guess even if I get a PES review, it will be temporary cos I'm suffering from shoulder tendonitis which is recoverable. Thanks!

  hi guys, im gonna pop on the 8th of jan as well, PTP phase for me, cleared field camp, sit test, live range passed, grenade thrown, ippt silver.

  may i know roughly what kind of unit i will be posted to? the survey whether wanna go command sch, i put yes. but im nt sure whether im prepared for it anot. or rather im worry whether am i able to cope to the life of the respective unit or command sch ( if possible) that i will be posted to as it will definitely be more demanding. i know i survived 4 months of BMT which basically let me be more prepared for the unit posting after that. i just have worries which i dont know how to describe.

  sorry for alittle off topic, so anyone know roughly how the posting order will be?
