I'm posted to OETI as a Auto Tech (Trainee). I don't have a vehicle class as compared to others. Any idea how is life like this in this unit???
To the lao jiaos here, I been considering to sign on as a Guards Spec. But now I didn't enter SCS. Any idea if I can still sign on? If can then must i serve finish this wtf vocation first?
Any help offered is greatly appreciated.

You're posted to SCDF as a officer cadet trainee.. after ur commissioning, you'll be an SCDF Officer.

u're going to be a techie lor.. a lot of ppl would rather be a techie than to chiong sua.. but you happen to be the opposite.. lol.
u can try speaking to ur superior or ur S1 officer about signing on.

How long is the training? Do we get a 8-5 after we finish the course? Slack or not?
Oh and what is the highest rank we can obtain in this vocation? corporal? sergeant?

chances are you'll be posted to a unit as a signaller after your course.. depends on which unit you're posted to.. but this one u might need someone who was a signaller to enlighten you.
given that you're directly posted there, highest possible is corporal first class (CFC)

u have to report in no.4, but dont need to bring all ur BMT barang barang..
after the first day, you should be briefed on what to do and what to bring..

RP is basically like the day guard of the camp.. usually you get to go home everyday (well at least it was the case for my camp).. but as for the RP training, u might have to stay in (again, check with the higher-ups).
if you have the excuse slip and memos from the specialist, just hand it to ur superiors as well as ur camp MO. they will decide if you OOC or not.

urs ah.. transport supervisor, if i recalled correctly its the specialist in charge of the drivers.. like ur instructions say, check with ur unit if u have to stay in..

On the assumption that I am not downgraded to a clerical vocation? Do I recourse as an RP? I heard varying benefits as to being an RP-e.g.,8-5, one day off per 2 day duties and et cetera-but I am going to go on the supposition that it is entirely dependent on the camp personnel? What about training during the period in 8SIR? Is it tough? Am I suppose to bring everything from the duffel bag to the field camp, packed with all the boots et al?

hmm, then i first day just report in no.4 uniform, bring along at least 2 sets of PT kit, a couple of underwears, 11B and what else?
have to wear jockey cap right?
most likely i dont have to stay in for the first day right?
