MP?

Hmm ...i m currently out of BMTC and posted to MP at mowbray camp.
May i know hows the training and daily routine there like ?N how long is the training and stuff after that ?
Apart from that...some old old thread i dug said gd/perfect eyesight was one of the requirements to enter.But i have high myopia which cause me to be In PES B,has the old system change or something ?
I tried looking around the forum and most of the threads started date back quite sometime ago(like 2006 or 2005).No recent thread about this and i wish to know more from experienced ppl b4 i go in.So pls dont delete this thread or smth.

Heard that you have to go through a 3 months course before being posted to one of the 6 sub-units. Course might be a bit xiong but there is no more SOC and you'll have a lot of lectures and tests.
After your course, you might be posted to guard the Istana
, perform escort duties, conduct regular raids for contraband items in various camps, go and catch people who AWOL, guard the DB, investigate military crimes and many more. If you are lucky, you might get selected to join the Precision Drill Unit who will go through hell training and you parents might see you perform live on TV during NDP. 
Actually MP is quite fun lah, after your course it will be quite slacked unless you get a xiong unit. Oh and you get to wear those tight tight uniform specially made for MP and a white helmet with 'MP' largely printed on it. -
You can also call yourself Kempeitai after that too!

from the video they showed me there was pistol firing.Would i get to fire a pistol during the training stage or after i get posted?

There was also outfield training in the video and the place looks like P.Tekong.So Mp training need go back Tekong or smth .? -

You should be happy, Military Police is quite a respected vocation. Strikes fear in a lot of army personnels hearts.
Of course, where you are posted to after your training is a diff story. Certain vocations like Active Provost Company (APC), Rifle Precision Drill Squad (RPDS) quite siong from what i hear.
But if you survive the training, wear your MP signia with pride!
(plus can book nsfs smoking etc even though you are in civilian attire, as long as you got your warrant card. but that is if you really bo liao lah hahaha) -
