legends of SAF

i read a book called ' when i was in uniform' by james suresh. i came upon a chapter called ' legends and extraordinary characters'. i saw people like CPT shamsudin,tiger hong,staff ramswal and monkey chia. i understand they were plp in the 1G army , does anyone know what is the latest development in their lives now?

james suresh? he was one of the authour of the Mr Kiasu comic books. he was also once a regular officer.

there was a BCCT Instructor in Tekong (BMTC) from 04-05 i think.
Huge man, very muscular with puny legs.
But he was feared and any company that kenna him for BCCT would fear his punishments... and we would shout out loud and be very garang because we were afraid of punishment in the hot sun.
i'm told he is a NSF. Wa kao...

but nevertheless, there was one time we were tekan bcos........ my fren carried a packet of tissue in his pocket (we were supposed to remove EVERYTHING from our pockets).

was the guy that shoot durin the SQ incident, apparently he was a spec(staff sgt iirc) den after the incident promoted to officer, den went for courses + other posting den finally promoted to col in charge of bmtc. now retired -
