police is totally different FROM SAFOriginally posted by Deunamist:sorry, I'm going into the regular police force soon.
edit: but it's never wrong to learn anything from my SAF and CD counterparts.
I resent that statement. because the very first time I did rifle drill was with a real M16 at the Old Police Academy.Originally posted by allentyb:kids can't access our intranet, because you are still 18 years old, who never touch a REAL M16 before, who never even know
different from SAF but cannot learn anything from SAF?Originally posted by allentyb:police is totally different FROM SAF
go ahead and resent my statement, you are the one who thinks that what you learn in NPCC, can be applied in this threadOriginally posted by Deunamist:I resent that statement. because the very first time I did rifle drill was with a real M16 at the Old Police Academy.
and who said anything about accessing your intranet?
Ok, never fire..live..rounds before...
and furthermore, you never serve NS before, and you never fire any live rounds or go for range before

Although ISM was abit crazy, he was quite funny to be with.Originally posted by kings:i also kena b4. asked our frd to lock us from outside but he still can come in. we stay indep block 1st floor
I really doubt so, considering the command given for non-generals is simply "Hormat Senjata".Originally posted by jc123:I think the command is a direct translation from English, "general salute, present arms". The general does not mean the rank general, it means "ordinary, usual".

Hormat Panglima - salute given to Reviewing Officer holding position of at least Member of Parliament. Not General.
If I'm not wrong, in accordance with 'Hormat Polis' in the SPF, given to at Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner of Police, SAF Generals should be given a 'Hormat Tentera' salute.
Hormat Perdana Menteri - salute given to Prime Minister
