LBV and personnel radio

  I got a set of Singapore LBV recently. It is a very nice and excellent design comparing to my old webbing.
  
  I tried to fit all the pouches onto this lovely vest and look for some related informations. But I found that the information is so limited(or I am too useless) over internet so that I can't figure something out:
  
  1.Is the radio pouch of this vest designed for PRC 610 personnel radio? If yes, any further information about this radio except only 1 small section in http://www.mindef.gov.sg/imindef/mindef_websites/atozlistings/army/ourforces/Signals/Equipment.html#PRC_610 ? I tried to look Singapore Technologies but in vain..
  
  2.My vest is made by D&G Soldiertalk, and this one was seen in this forum and another yahoo photo album. But as far as I know, there is another vest maker in singapore called "Force21". Their vests (on their website) are different. I have limited experience in distinguishing vests over some *low resolution* operation/excercise pictures, so I would be thanksful if you could tell me whose vest is adopt by singapore army? Or they both are providers?
  
  3.The earliest historical pictures I can found is around Dec/2004:http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?t=31286
  Is this the very 1st time this vest exhibited in public? Any further information about the development of this vest?
  
  4.Besides 5.56mm magzine pouches, is there 9mm ones available?
  
  It's quite wordy and maybe some noob questions inside, thanks for reading anyway.
  
  Any information/suggestions are welcome.

  I think I can only help answer this question. Generally, the Army will adopt whoever can provide at the cheapest costs.
  
  D&GSoldiertalk is probably the cheapest supplier this round.
  Force21 was probably the cheapest available in the last round.
  The original idea is probably from some US Brands, which was the cheapest when these 2 guys have not started copying.
  
  If nekosp can beat their prices, SAF will adopt your Brand !

  If you want to attach more pouches etc on the LBV, maybe you could bring it down to Sheares Marketing. They sell other brands of equipment that match the MOLLE attachment strap system, which I think the LBV looks to have.

  Yes I know there are many kinds of molle pouches selling over market, but what I would be interested in is an offical release or design of this LBV. Maybe they (9mm ones) are not necessary because Singapore army rarely using 9mm submachine guns except commandos?

  its pointless having a lbv when the unit wan to standardise the location of the pouch u wan to put..

  They should give a standard layout, and then allow you guys to place whatever extra MOLLE pouches you need.

  i juz follow my standby card last time
  
  120 rounds onli?
  
  then onli put 2 magazine pouches lor..
  
  2 grenades?...2 grenade pouches lor
  
  1 smoke?....1 smoke lor
  
  the rest of the space i put the 2 utility pouches(small) at my chest(look like t i t s)
  
  1 gore tex pouch at my front right waist...
  
  thats all lor...
  
  still got my 2 medic thigh bags that i buy from sheares...
  
  practically put my MOP items on myself...paramedic scissors tucked at my left chest in between the molle slots connecting the handle to the zipper with elastic lanyard
  
  i still keep the MOP bag in my alice pack for wayang purposes when someone ask where my bag is since it is standard item
  
  sure it cost a bomb...
  
  but it made life easier and practical and prolly will help me with Reservist life to come.....
  
  cant bear using SAF equipment when i am older...bad ergonomics except for the LBV..the rest all i fork out cash for convenience....as long as i am comfortable doing my job

  i dun like the new LBV... makes u sweat more... spec wen u need 2 tighten it as tight as possible so it doesnt shake around. Comfortable though... but still hate the water pouch... honestly, i still think the old set is nicer

  oh and our standard is...
  
  3 mag pouch, 2 gren, 1 gortex behind, 1 bottle, 1 water pouch, 1 torch.
  
  I wonder why they make us carry so many pouches... i end up just putting my little barang barang in there [e.g. Tissue papers, watch etc]

  Truely we need more medics like u ahhahaha i nv trust my medic :S haahaha
