Requesting for Early Enlistment

Hi all,
Would like your advice for this.
I am in this PTP batch and i know there are enlistment held in June and Sept this year.
I am interested to enlist on june because i want to make it for my uni studies on 09/10.
May i know how should about applying for this? I went to send an email ns.sg but i didn't get a reply.
Would you advice me going down straight to CMPB to apply? And is it too late now to apply for june batch?

At what number? I called the NS 24 hr hotline, they seem to say that CMPB is handling it and not them..

it's too late. do u know how much admin and logistic works needs to be done so that u can enter uni early. the reason is not strong enough.

Go down to CMPB and do it in person. It's not too much of a fuss actually. Do bring supporting documents.

What kind of supporting doc besides letter from uni? -
Think you may be getting your letter soon? Cuz many of my friends (from poly) have received theirs within these few days. I haven't got mine though.

don't think so, i called CMPB earlier they said haven't confirm..

I think it is better for NS to be back to 2.5 years, so TS will be just in time to start school.

just curious, now that NS is reduced to 2 years, are there's no more disruption?

there still is. revised new gom directive.
depend on when u enlist date.
if june/dec batch enlist, no disruption. if remembered correctly.
if sep/oct batch enlist, can submit offer letter. grant u 1 to 2 mths disruption, just in time for academic year.
only applicated to local unis nus/ntu/smu, and studying on campus at overseas unis. -
