804 SIR

  Anyone have any idea what 804 SIR is about?
  
  (Mods, please feel free to delete this thread if the above mentioned unit is classified/sensitive)
  
  I recently got a letter telling me of my new posting to 804 SIR. Around half a year ago, i was posted to HQTRADOC. And before that, another place (yes...keep getting sent here and there).
  
  804 SIR under Tradoc? Damn worried man. SIR is definitely rifleman, but i damn scared is a sibei on unit.

  Whats your voc during NS?
  Infantry battalion also have a support coy and hq coy in addition to rifle coy

  I was ASA(clerk) during my NSF time. Was Pes C2. However, upon my ord, i was upgraded to Pes B.
  
  So 804 is under 2PDF? Anyone here in 804 or 2PDF or working around the area can tell me what kind of unit it is like? (Like how active the reservist unit is). Can PM me also if you don't want to say here. Thanks.

  A very ulu camp in a small industrial park. Take SMRT Bus 189 from Clementi MRT bus stop. Its a 8 min journey but be prepare coz 189 always pack in the morning. The camp ish huge but dun worry. Its 'clean'. Bo gui de. Right behind this camp if you are standing near the cookhouse, you will see SMRT Ulu Pandan Depot (trains).

  me also under 2 PDF..
  
  my reservist unit is those protect coastline one.. i,e our exercise will go to some areas where u can see the sea and then dig and dig and dig some holes and hide inside..
  
  can see the sand, the sea and the sun..
  
  but basically reservist is quite ok lah, depending on individual unit COs lah..
  sometime it is siong, but it is endurable loh.. got time to relax as well.
  
  some units under 2 PDF are POI unit (protection of installations).

  The bee hoon and ngo hiang at the 2PDF canteen is not bad, but that was 3 years back..
  
  Look out for the V200 on display near the parade square.

  thanks for the info. But i'm not reporting to the unit or anything. just got a letter telling me of my new reservist unit. but thanks anyway

  Used to be Tradoc. Now 804. Tradoc lasted for 6-7 months? Let's see how long 804 will last this time.
  
  Before Tradoc still got unit but i will leave that undisclosed.

  You sure Tradoc used to be at Clementi Camp? Me's with Tradoc for my reservist for the past nine years at Pasir Laba Camp wor...

  In general, NS units have 3 digits. Likely under some PDF.

  Tradoc is at pasir laba. never went there for reservist but went before during nsf for errands.
