Question For NS (fittness drop during waiting for NS)

I wish to ask what if i cannot do the ippt items like pull up 2.4km etc during my bmt but i have attend a silver during my test in sch for ns? Due to not exercising for the past few mths and keep on eating and slacking.
My bmt is on july/.

imo if u decided not to keep ur fitness level at that napfa silver level, u shouldn't have taken or pass the napfa.
i have seen a lot of napfa silver recruit suffer during bmt becos they did not bother to keep their fitness at that level and did not have the chance to go thru ptp.
just my thoughts. -
now that u still have an interim period before enlist. do soem training, weights, static.
Although in bmt there will be lots of physical trg... i'm sure you don't want to be so physically weak right? -
It happens after you get your pink IC and await to take your annual ippt also.

Better start training... Chin-up and 2.4km, IMHO, requires maintenance. If you keep training for for it and maintaining, your level won't drop, much...
Remember hor, go BMT, you'll do chin-up all the time... They'll demand those standard ones, not those half-f**ked types in NAPFA...
You might be able to pass chin-up now, but when you go in, sure become zero-fighter if you're not used to the regiment -
i think u should build up ur stamina now...that is more impt....chin up can be easily trained during bmt cos u do it so often anyway...but stamina takes a longer time to build up

i heard before SAF went to kan the polytechnics because the recruits poly produce were so out of shape even though polytechnic handed them so many people who got silver for their napfa.
SAF thought the polytechnics were making false results for their students. -

3 times with "extra loaded" SBO, then once without dummy mags, once without sand cans, once without 1.5litre water bottle, once without 1 water bottle, once without another water bottle, once SBO off.

And is handphone allowed in camps in tekong? 1st week can bring in or wait a few more weeks then bring in? -

The point of getting silver in Napfa is to cut another 2months off your NS liability and nothing else lor. Go in 1mth later and ORD 1mth earlier.
I also go in very weak and my sarge ask me if I sure I am not PTP one. But by end of BMT sure can clear ippt one la.
Even if you fail Ippt, you still clear BMT lor. You pass field camp, range and road march more than sufficient. No need to worry so much.
But still, its good to do some training. Good for health. -
