Prowlers at Changi Airport

Have you noticed the 3 prowlers at Changi Airport ?
1 Policeman and 2 Soldiers.
The soldiers are wearing dark glasses indoors. Is it strange ? I thought sunglasses are worn when under the sun. Or are these X-ray glasses, so they can see objects in the clothes and bags ?
Looks a little bit funny. I wonder what foreign visitors will think. Singapore is so sunny that people have to wear sunglasses all the time, even indoors ? -
Wear only laa.. so that suspects wont see where the prowlers are looking with their eyes...

Chey.. i tot someone spotted EA-6B prowlers in changi airport.
Its a good thing to have. Dont know why some singaporeans complain about the presence of security personnel. Guilty perhaps? -
EA-6B Prowlers too powerful for Sg. Later the airport radar all down.
Aiya terrorist here, terrorist there, even international school got armed ghurka. Wat you expect. -

From wad my RSM told us last time...... the dark glasses are to tell the soldier looking at a particular person without being spot by the suspect. the other reason is to make the SG trooper look more Kilat, as those sun glasses are those curve in type designed for military and police usage.

most of the time they are looking at the air stewardess.....
but ppl dunno cos of the glasses... lol -

Right, wear shades indoors in sunny Singapore.
Next, how come they think all servicemen has the same face shapes that can fit the same pair of eyewear.
We see Tom Cruise wears the shades, and everyone buys the same, but some look odd .......... same for these, not everyone suits that shape of sunglasses. Don't they have a choice to buy something that suits their face ? At least something that makes them look more garang or presentable. -

Those glasses look very tacky. Something a Ah Beng would wear to try and look cool and impress schoolgirls.
But I agree they are necessary to hide the otherwise innocent and "green" look of our NS men.
You want to be impressed look at the Gurkhas at the airport with their slouch hats and MP5. Those are ones to avoid if you are JI.
I know it is part of their tradition to wear the kukri but ... are they gonna start hacking people at the airport? That's quite mediaeval. -
