Excess LIst? Med Downgraded?

I dunno if this is posted b4 (Couldnt search out this issue).
Anyway, I am a 28 yr old Combat medic. Went to 2nd Low key ICT in march (1 week) with my new infantry unit (formerly a school medic in Safti)
Then recently i recently received a letter from HQ, saying I have been posted out to Med Downgraded/ Excess List managed by NSPC.
I dunno what happened sia. I didnt see MO at all during my incamp for any medical issues.
Being C1L2 I have to take IPPT and i have already booked RT this May. However , now when I checked my earlier booking, it says I am on holding list/deserter list and something blah blah. What the heck?
I checked mindef webby and it did say ppl on NSPC list need not take IPPT. ANd when I checked with NSPC, they no idea why I got posted to them.
Directed me to my HQ unit, they oso puzzled.
In the end directed to call a number, (think my unit) and end up being told by some impatient guy to call back later even without hearing me speak at all.
Kaoz, what should I do? Just go with the flow and dun question the decision? (which i am damn happy to do so?) or probe further (cos i am scared of any disciplinary actions against me for msising my RT). Has anyone encountered this same situation?

Simple, your letter is your official order. It doesn't matter if people are surprised or not. That letter confirms your holding until further notice or change. So for this period, you are not required to take IPPT.
Don't worry too much. Strange things happen in the army. Perhaps they are shifting combat medics to a more front-line role and there for you are "under-PES-ed" or something of that sort.

Got downgraded from Pes B to C1L2 when I went for pre-enlistment checkup cos I suffer from colour blind and G6PD. U know the Ishihara colour blind book which they used to test for colour blindness? I couldnt distinguish any numbers from almost the entire book. So the MO said quite serious and downgraded me.
I still remembered I almost cried when he said that. Always wanted to be garang soldier. My classmates then oso poked fun at me, called me sissy solider. After two and a half years, I now thanked that MO deeply.

Almost lah, not cried. Felt a lump in my throat. Wanted to do country proud, be officer blah blah. all dashed with that statement. And also, during the course of service in my unit, my unit MO was like wondering how come I C1L2. I showed him by scratching my head.
Anyway, never regretted being a C1L2. only regret was darn, how come not C2 at least... still got to go IPPT. *sigh* C1L2 is like so inbetween.

to holding list. Will I be posted to a unit after I got upgraded back to C9L2?

don't u have to take IPPT once a year at least even without ICT. During ICT they conduct another round of IPPT that is excluding your annual IPPT. At least that was my reservist. No idea.
Look at the message when I tried to book my RT. (RT previously booked earlier, but strangely, on the records, they said RT booking cancelled on 16 April 2007, which is also the day I got posted to NSPC.)
