  Hey.heard many people mentioning mono intake but never really found it what is.Can someone please share and tell what it is? How different is it from going to Tekong and stuff like that?

  Tekong u train like gu niang.. then post out to respective vocations including command sch......
  
  Mono intakes.. u will be trained in that unit and after BMT, 98% of the cohort will remain there for the next 2 yrs... while the remaining 2% post out to respective vocations excluding command sch.

  Just borrowing the thread .. heard a lot of people say that Mono Intake, really low chances of promotion and meant for all those who can at most achieve the rank of private .. true?

  mono-intake soldiers are all men, meaning they won't be promoted to commanders aka sergeants and officers. but they can be promoted to LCP or CPL.

  and if you're outstanding, you can get Cpl First Class!
  
  You won't be selected for specialist courses unless you excel during your mono intake, and subsequently say you wanna sign on. Then you can be considered for SISPEC.

  Kantang seller uses oxygen tank... never have breathing problem. Everytime CO begged me to stop shooting.. too powerful...

  during my mono intake, mostly all best of best go SISPEC, and also some KINGS got arrow into SISPEC too
  those CMI mostly go MP and driver, interesting is got one send to navy as diver
  only the second best or jumbu stay at own battery level
