Handphone during BMT

  Sorry if this has been asked before.
  
  It's stated that handphones are allowed during BMT but not chargers.
  
  However, does it matter if mine is a camera phone? Or only non camera phones allowed?

  Camera phones are not allowed in all military camps unless you have security clearance from the Guard's room or whatever it is called. That's what I was told.
  
  I don't think recruits are entitled to have security clearance with camera phonese though.

  Well, I'm thinking of buying a cheap 2nd-hand phone for my upcoming reservist.

  Actually, if you're quite close to your NS S3, you can try to get an LOA. Otherwise, gotta get a blind phone.

  too bad how come they never specify in the letter? i guess if ppl bring camera phone on first day they'll be allowed to use until the 1st bookout?
  
  not many phones without camera these days. any good ones to recommend? nokia or sony ericsson hopefully...

  nope, u r not allowed to use it at all. onli non-camera phones. the BMTC instructors will not risk bearing the responsibility if MP were to come to tekong and conduct a spot check.

  Erm... Get a cheap new camera-less phone and some compatible batteries for your bmt lor... Cost you less than 100 if you get 2 batteries and 1100i...
