Have u met any inspirational or praise-worthy person in SAF?

Any superiors u had while u were serving army deserve a praise? Perhaps the person has touched your heart or is a person u look up to.
for example maybe during your BMT u had a PC or OC who emphasized a lot of the welfare of recruits. Eg. U fell sick or injured and had to be put to the sickbay, and this PC came over personally to visit you and show concern.
or a PC or platoon sergeant who will always praise recruits who show improvement in their fitness level or training, and encourage them to do better or to improve on their weakness.
or in your unit, u have this commander who go through thick n thin with the men during exercise so as to promote morale amongst everyone regardless of rank. And also show great leadership skills.
or you have this CO who recognises the effort of the soldiers taking part in exercises or parades, and praise them for their good work or even reward them with off days or early bookouts.
or this RSM or CSM who acts like a counsellor and would counsel and help NSFs who face personal problems (eg. financial, family or BGR)
so far any encounters?
u think SAF should have more of such people (SAF regulars)?
I think this will improve the morale of NSFs and we would have less grievances towards serving the army. -
I think I like my WO....
cos everyday, he will send me home and pick me up in the morning to go back camp.. -

The cookhouse auntie,she very kind,everytime i ask for more veggie,she will give and she not lazy even sunday also come back cook for those on duty.
She the only one i respect in SAF
The rest,especially those senior-ranking ones,cannot be too nice or familar with them,cause the more familar you are with them,the more work you will end up getting,if the work do nice nice still ok,never do nice nice sure kena for doing the extra work. -
My CO, RSM, ex-RSM, ex-CSM, OC, XXX course 2IC, all damn good...even though high rank, but all really lead by example, not afraid to get down and dirty with the men...if they expect something from you, for example IPPT Gold....they got it first before making sure we did...instead of some commanders, kept farking us and calling us weak...when they themselves always seem to be busy when IPPT is coming...

who was your course 2IC? -
that time my unit got range. This LTA and 3 men were tasked to draw ammo from some camp. Since they left camp very early, all haven't had brkfast.
When they reach the camp to draw ammo, they were early, and the men complain hungry. The LTA then task the rover to park beside at a civilian carpark entrance, and get 1 guy to go tabao.
Unluckily a mindef vehicle past by. They saw the red flag on the rover and went down to check. End of story.
The LTA kana 3 days DB, even that they were not in a civilian carpark, and there is no ammo, weapons or even magazines onboard. -

One of my instructors at SMM during my combat medic course.
He told us, 'Some people may not always be appreciative of your efforts. You can treat them, rescue them and prevent them from dying, but they may still hate you in the end for some other reason.
In the end, just remember that you are a medic, and as a medic you must always do the right thing, even if no one appreciates your efforts.'
Simple but very wise words on his part... I kept recalling those words every single time I got bullied by the men in my unit - even though I have treated their wounds and injuries before. -

My course 2IC? MSG Ross. Those in the Guards formation would definitely know him.
BTW, i wanna quote my section instructor during my conversion (not GCC), 1SG Zaki.
"When the going gets tough, and you feel like giving up, always remember, this is necessary for you to be 100 percent reliable if and when the time comes for the country to call upon you to defend her.
